I enjoy constrained work experience, how do I convince an interviewer to enlist me?

Tomorrow I am going for a job interview for a receptionist position. The person I spoke to on the phone have some concerns over my lack of work experience.

In the first half of final year I completed a Certificate III in Business Administration. Not only did I capture a Distinction for it, but I got an Outstanding Achievement Award.

For six months after that I unsuccessfully looked for work. At the start of this year I had five weeks stopgap assignment as an administrative assistant. That finished in February. I haven't found work since.

My time as an administrative assistant is pretty much the only work experience I enjoy ever had. I was a subdivision time telemarketer for 9 days in 2005, but that is adjectives. I spent the whole of 2005 looking for work.

I feel I would be capable of do the job, even excel at it, but how do I convince the employer of this?

Also, why haven't I been competent to find work yet, when I did so well surrounded by my course?

How can I modify this segment of...

The most noteworthy thing to remember about assignment interviews is that people are hired mainly due to the visceral counterattack of the interviewer. Do not be defensive about your dearth of "work experience," but instead point to your many life experiences which you surface prepare you well for the position. Educational experiences are fine, of course, but also focus of examples from your life when your communication skills really made a difference.

You certainly write powerfully and I would bring some samples of things you may have written so as to show that you're able of more and are "promotion material" within the company. Stress punctuality, reliability and work ethic and you will stand out head and shoulders above the rest.

Good luck . . . and obtain some sleep.

Do adjectives employer not appreciate their employeers?

I've done greatly of office work in olden times 4 years and it does get fraustrating because I've seen that even if you enjoy a degree or some schooling most places really just want you to hold experience. So how the heck do you get the expierence if someone won't hire you? lol...Well my advice is..
1. Dress intensely well, skirt, jacket, pumps, the whole outfit. This will afford you the professional look that most places desire.

2. Do not go with your spine wet as if you just get out of the shower, that is a big turn off.

3. Make a index of questions that you think you will enjoy to answer and make a list of your strong and half-hearted points!

4. Make sure you share with them all of your accomplishments at your conservatory and how you've gone above and beyond your requirements! This will show them that you are a hard worker!

5. I know this is hard but try not to get the impression or look nervous! Confidents is very critical and shows strength!

6. Make sure you do research about the company you are interviewing with and show them that you are predisposed to work hard enough to build surrounded by their company!

Good luck! :)

First of adjectives I don't really have enough information, but I am going to clutch a stab at it anyways.
1) Wear a blue suit to the interview, it's a standard for a reason.
2) Do some research on the company that is interviewing you so you hold some direct question to ask about the company, This is a appropriate way to show your initiative and skill.
3) Emphasize your I can do it attitude when they ask you why they should hire you the answer is because I know I can do the job.
4) Use you work experience as the administrative assistant to point up things that you have accomplished when they ask you question like? How would you overcome a ? issue?
5) You received and Outstanding Achievement Award for a reason, you go above and beyond in your studies, share how you accomplished that.
6) Make sure to ask them when you can expect them to sort a decision.
7) Send a thank you note to their human resources department and to your interviewer the daytime after your interview.
8) Call them when they have told you they would make their judgment by or later on in the week to thank them for the opportunity to interview and ask if the declaration has been made.
Good luck

How much should I ask for as...

Your appearance must be clean cut, but not too rich. I wouldn't hire a receptionist who dressed better than I. I would wear a nice black skirt and low knob top with no cleavage - light on the makeup and jewelry.

Secondly appear confident. You must appear talented.

Speak clearly and concisely. If they don't understand you, how could you be a receptionist?

What sort of direction do you want...

Your lack of "in-office" work experience doesn't mean that you haven't have successes. As you consider each requirement of the job for which you are applying, find a school-related or other experience that will serve as evidence of your nouns. Your awards in school are a fine example. If mention is made of your want of experience, focus on the organizational, interpersonal, and dependability skills you used in attaining your certification. Good luck!

I am a secretary...?

I know it's frustrating when you don't get a job you know you can do.
You may not want to bear this advice, but believe you me, many individuals do it.
You need to put down experience in your CV. Make it up/exaggerate.

I requirement support next to this interrogate...

well i think..its better to underline most of your positive aspects.
Dont worry' failure is the stepping stone for success. So..try and try again till u succeed.
After respectively interview try to note down the mistakes u did and try to overcome it. face it cheerfully.
I guess u can make it.

Focus on your skills, not the brevity of your experience.

Let the employer know that you DO know how to use the phones/copier/computer programs/etc, and offer any certifications you may have (Brainbench offer certification for lots of programs). Mention your awards.
Ask the employer to run through sample situations beside you to see how you would handle them.
Never mention that you "need" or "deserve" this job or this accidental - that's your business, and not the employer's. Focus on how you can fulfill THEIR needs, not on how they can fulfill yours.
