Continue within nursing or follow my excitement? ?

I just graduated from nursing academy and passed the boards as a Practical Nurse. Nursing was never my first choice but I fell into it for the money but there are no job for LPNs outside of nursing homes or psych hospitals, neither of which I'm interested in. I've always needed my own business but in the meantime the harsh veracity is I need money and stability, two things getting my RN would offer. So finish surrounded by nursing or back to business?

I am contained by my 2nd semester...

Congratulations on ratification your boards :)

You should definitely continue nursing...it will be worth it. You will enjoy a secure job, and can take back to business when you've saved adequate.

What is nursing retrogression?

I would go back into nursing to stir into Registered nursing. With registered nursing you're able to work in any pen of medicine, and you're also able to do like mad of other things as well.

If you're heart is in business afterwards you should go for it. If you want to go to nursing, afterwards continue this, but it is ultimately your decision.

Can you be a medical corps as...

Actually, I disagree with the above responders. There is a shortage of slots surrounded by RN programs, and a need for RNs. But if a person is not interested within working in nursing, most quit the occupation and try another quickly. Then the tuition and the position surrounded by school are wasted.

Also, though you may be a fine nurse technically, and know the information to intervene boards, I find that nurses regardless of their level (RN or LPN) who are not interested in the occupation, usually get something done minimally in the clinical setting when employed.

You will always do better if you are doing what you soak up.

EDIT: As a side note; while my wife is an RN, and I am an NP, we also own a travel agency, so we did both. There are always option.

Should I stir backbone to arts school...

If you are a nurse for money, then what bedside manner would you own on a bad day? I*m surrounded by the health care grazing land and honestly, if you don*t care about the corral then follow your heart elsewhere. But, where I live, LPNs can work within way more places than your listing.
Starting a business is other a risk, but usually is well worth it! I think you want to surprise yourself and go out on a limb to start that business.

Do you enjoy to be great at...

I regard you already answered your question. Since it's not the time to have your own business, stay near nursing while it pays your bills. It's also good that you can save $ from this work, when the right time comes then jump surrounded by it.

By then you already have experience, if your biz plan doesn't work out, you can other go back to what you are.

I own friends they crave fine art but they chose to be professional just be safe. It's a TRUE and cruel world, too many starving artist out at hand.

Best.
