Military art or not? What should we do?
Here’s the deal…my wonderful husband is in the military. He is an E5 and testing for E6 surrounded by a few days. The highest rank an airman can be is an E9. So he’s definitely got some rank on him. Here’s our dilemma. His possession is up in December 09. At that point he will have be in for 11 years. We are trying to decide what is best for us. We can’t settle on whether or not we should re-enlist or not. If he does re-enlist we will only have nine more years beforehand he can retire if he wants and collect that lovely paycheck every month. Not to mention the free medical and dental for our family for natural life. But this also means that I am out of a job or at smallest a career. I would have to work doing something but I would only take a job that wasn’t a occupation path and just more or smaller quantity a way to make some money. The other pick we have is for him to get out and consequently me take over my fathers business. I would probably create around $70,000 per year but I would also be a full time career woman. This has never be my dream. I have always dreamt of anyone a mommy that works not a working mommy. You know? Another dilemma for that would be my man would then be the one who takes any matured job here and there that he can. What do we do? Military Career Pros Only nine more years Medical and dental benefits for duration. The chance to see the world perhaps. A guaranteed paycheck after retirement every month. Military Career Cons My man could be gone for up to a year at a time away from me and his kinfolk. It can be a dangerous job. No stability- we won’t know how to purchase a house because you never know where you’ll be. Uprooting our family when we hold to. Moving far from both our hometowns **I also must mention that my man has a five year old daughter from a previous wedding ceremony. The little girl lives in TX with her mother. If we hold getting uprooted it may be hard for us to see her. Especially if we get re-located overseas** WHAT DO WE DO? I would love to bring back both military and civilian feedback…especially military wives.
Military nursing locally. can this facilitate me within going out of the country?
I'm a nursing graduate in the Philippines and I'm wondering if working as a military nurse would count as work experience when I apply for a job in a foreign country, most specifically the US.. Help? * 1 hour ago * - 3 days left to answer. Additional Details 56 minutes ago Thanks for the answers guys, but I may have moved out out a bit or I worded my question wrong... I'm still in the Philippines, and I've already applied for the NCLEX but still haven't taken it but, and most employers/hospitals/agencies ask for my work experience. So can working as a military nurse "here in the Philippines" help within getting an employer or a job abroad, specifically within the US? Because, I always thought you have to work at a hospital to be eligible for agencies or hospitals in a foreign country. Help? Thanks in advance.

More Dental Hygienist question!?
O.k, so I am really thinking about beginning academy for Dental Hygiene. Basically I have three goals and I want to know if you contemplate that dental hygiene is the right decision. I want to make just about 50-60 grand a year while working part time, so I can spend time beside my daughter and husband and be there for her for school and everything. I want to know how to have enough time and money to travel and truly enjoy life. Seems approaching 40 hours a week isn't the anser. I also want a job that I like. I am a ancestors person. Anyone a dental hygienist who can talk me into or out of this?
