I was let run..."FIRED" from my job of 25 months on 9/22. The reason for my discharge be: "Employee downloaded & installed unauthorized software and/or programs to company systems." The small business I worked for only had a extremely informal computer policy and allowed everyone to check email, download music, social networking, stock trading, you name it, these nation are/were doing it. I showed up last Monday and was presented beside a written "Computer & Vehicle Policy" that I had to sign that said I wouldn't download any malicious software, spam up email boxes, the usual stuff. I gleefully signed it, took a copy and gave it to the office regulator. I was told that my computer "may look different" and "if you have trouble next to any of your programs or can find things and need help only ask because we installed special filters on all of the computers this ancient weekend." I was like, okay, no problem. The purchasing human being and the office manager have both viruses on their computers for the past week so I figure they were debugging them. I have no idea that they had delete all of my music, all of my pictures, adjectives of the contents of my documents folder, all of the programs that were permitted since...just gone. I was fairly surprised when I turned on my computer and found all of that to be gone...oh, they also installed a key logger on my computer so they could monitor everything I do...the one personality who doesn't use myspace or scottrade or whatever any of those other sites are that douche bag slackers use to dissipate time at work. From August of 2006 when I started at the company I was using Microsoft (safety guaranteed) Messenger to communicate only next to the people in my bureau, and so was everyone else. This is not the first time that the program has be deleted by the computer tech after a sweep so i went to my documents directory found the install and reinstalled the file. I texted my coworker (call her sally, purchasing person) and told her that I put the install file surrounded by her folder on the network and in second she and I were connected again. We had a brief, all the same very harsh disrespectful (toward the boss) something give or take a few d*ck sucking (so embarrassed, but I was cracked and thats so not like me! All my stuff was delete!) Oh and I did say, well, I better gain this payroll done before I get the axe...guess I be right. I got the axe, fired. That day and be presented with the computer log and the conversation that we had. I WAS THE ONLY ONE FIRED! The subsequent day (sally is also my out of work friend, which makes this uber lame) she tell me that she gets written up only because the bureau manager we will call her The Ice Queen said their attorney advise them to do so. I am now being told that they are trying to articulate that the virus outbreak came from my computer when mine was never sick. Oh the previous Friday The Ice Queen (office manager) presented me near a write up for being 15 minutes late after working until 8pm the hours of darkness before on special reports for the Vice President. I refused to sign it. Now, dont you consider something smells fishy? Im in Florida, is it even legal to just fire one person? I know they are going to fight the laying-off, Im going to fight back? First "official" career, want help out?
Okay so I've been working under my grandfather since I be about 13 or so and he's been paying me beneath the table, now I'm 18, about to graduate High School, and obligation a 'official' job. Can I list this as chore experience or does it not count? Also how long does it take for employers to give the name you after submitting a application and does referring someone you know that works in the company actually increase your likelihood of getting the job?
First aider requirement at work?
We have one first aider at work (under 50 employee's) however i only work clear in your mind hours and there are times when iam not at work so we have no first aider on duty is this still lawful or does my employer have to provide someone else. Also if there is singular one first aider who would give first aid if i became not at your best

Hi everyone, My girlfriend is just finishing up her first semester of law university, we predict she will be in the top 5% if not the top 10% of her class, but we will not know until July. We live within Houston Texas, and i was wonering if there are any summer internships out near for her. She is going into oil/gas law (the reason we moved to texas for tenet school). I read that the minimum wage in FL is around $6.50, but I happened to see my roommate's recompense check. and it shows that her Bar & Grill Restaurant is paying her only $3.50 per hour (she is a waitress). Qn 1: How can this be ? Qn 2: It also showed Tips earned. Does this include one and only tips paid thru' Credit Card ?
Florida Non-Compete?
I was hired as a recruiter for a company that specializes in intervening travel assignments for Allied Health Professionals. They hired me because I knew alot about pharmacy recruit and they wanted to start recruiting pharmacists for stopgap assignments. They had me sign a non-compete in command to start working there. I started working there and positively hated it after 3 months. So I decided to lift my knowledge of pharmacy(that I had prior to joining the company) and start my own everlasting placement company. So now my former company is trying to enforce this non compete and saying that I am not to work at adjectives in the healthcare recruiting industry anywhere within the united states for 1 year. While working for them I had no contact or relationships beside any of their clients, my job was to one and only find travelers for open temporary job we had. Is this non compete reasonable and enforceable?
