If you have not been employed 12 months you enjoy no rights to unfair dismissal,but can you take this issue to the courts within a civil case?
Unfair Dismissal ? - Where to start near please?
My friend was recently sack. She was told one day after work that her services be not required and a letter of termination would be sent to her. About two weeks later, a reminder was sent to her accusing of serious misconduct which she didn't believe so. There was also a cheque attached to the missive and it was said, if she presented the cheque, that would confirm she accepted the explanation of dismissal and would not make further claim against the company. My friend was working contained by finance section and she didn't believe she have done any serious misconducts and her dismissal was not fair. But she is also beneath financial pressure. Is there any free legal services she could dance to ask advices if she would have a case here for undue dismissal please ? Where would be the best place she could start ? also , she heard she had to form the case in 21 days, be that true ? Does that mean she has just 7 days to decide ?

If you have been fired for gross misconduct, for something you did not do is they any recourse steps you can nick to prevent your reference being flawed?

My boss accused me of forging a timesheet (saying i left at 4pm instead of 12pm) but it be unintentional as it was end week and i had been going through alot at the time and it be an accident.(my boss would just be paid it up in A/L or S/L if i work a short week so i have no call for to forge timesheets) he made me sign a form under duress that said i forged timesheets and told me to go on my passageway. he didnt even take into account that it be unintential and that i have worked so hard for them for the recent past six months and have NEVER been contained by trouble for anything and had no complaints to me. I feel that i be manipulated to sign this form and leave and i never get a copy of it. Even though they state i have 'done something wrong' do i still have grounds for unwarranted dissmissal? its not that i want to scam money but this was completely unexpected and i dont want this to evolve to anyone else. Do all work places have to afford written warnings before firing?
Unfair Redundancy, can I bear permitted motion?
I finished work at 1 on the friday, had a phone call when I get home telling me I was redundant (I have no idea they were planning any). 10 days following I received a letter saying my redundancy starts as of 7th November. 3 days subsequent I received a cheque for only 3 weeks pay, no holiday accrue and 4 weeks redundancy. No meetings at all. I own worked for them 4 years 10 months. Do you think that the way they terminated me be unfair?
Unfair Treatment contained by Our Company?
We have a women who does nothing but create trouble. She is an overgrown child. She is never in on time, take two hour lunches and leaves early, yet she is other worried about others work schedule. She cause conflict by telling untruthful stories, uses vulgar language towards other workers including her supervisors, but the Big bosses refuse to confront the situation, but reprimand us when we come in slowly or leave early. The situation have intensified now that she is pregnant. They claim they are concerned if they fire her she will file a lawsuit due to her human being pregnant. Whether they fire her is not the concern for myself and my co-workers - we just want her to receive some kind of Corrective exploit and for our word to matter. For me I feel even more scorn because I have been a devoted employee for over seven years and she has be an employee for 8-9 months. I have never lied or cheated my company or done anything to organize them to mistrust - why is her word taken over mine or anyone else in the Company for that matter? I do I feel this - it's starting to effect my desire to work here. Also, the fact that she uses vulgar language - would that be consider a form of hounding?

Hello My fiance is working as an accountant in a college for seven years and she is trying to get a lift and the title that she deserves. They hired new people to that available job and they promised her that position but they lied to her. Now she makes a job description to afford it to her supervisor but this supervisor that doesnt even have a degree similar to my fiance, and has this position as a supervisor and she cut down what she was doing and her duties so she wont gain anything. I would severely appreciate your help on what to do on this, maybe find some buoyant by law or where to want help. Thanks in credit

I have been working surrounded by my company for 5.5 years and someone with then same exact post description who has been here 1 year (of whom I trained minus extra pay by the way) gets a special assignment which have nothing to do with our opportunity description and gets extra recognition and potential for extra reward...unfair?
Unhirable? Is this official?
I am an ex-employee of Kmart. I recently submitted an application to Sears (which are now combined With K-Mart). I not here Kmart, with a two week written notice. When I applied for sear, I was sent a notification that I was non-rehirable, due to "Job abandonment" from when I not here Kmart. My question is, if an employee is not FIRED, or did not set off a company with any couching's, or for negative reason, is it legal to deem them un-hirable, and present that to other companies looking for job reference for you?

Hi people, im just in the order of to complete my first year of uni law degree LLB (another 2 yrs to go) but im starting to wonder whether its worth doing the rest or shall i a short time ago bank my credits now?What sort of duty could i get now beside a HNC in Law? Im already in profoundly of student debt that really worries me and ive heard so many stories something like graduates who cant get a chore. I defo want to work in the legal area of some kind...ive got pretty flawless marks B's and C's but i go 2 a uni next to a bad rep (Wolverhampton)...Is there anyone out within who has a law amount?Did u benefit?Is there any1 who did what i am thinking about? I really obligation some honest advice pleeeeez! My parents say do what make me happy and career websites own visited dont really say what opportunity are available with a HNC! arghhh its really getting me down

University of Phoenix/Axia query: Which employer don't adopt body near degree from here?
I heard that some employers enjoy said in their job ad that you shouldn't apply there if you have a point from this school. After hearing that, I transferred to UMUC, but I do not approaching it there. I liked it much better at UOP. Anybody know of any companies that don't adopt degrees from there? Anybody know if this is such a really doomed to failure school that is supposedly "laugh at by other schools", why are the still regionally accredited and have over 300,000 online students?
