Pass the bar in the state you want to practice and start applying for job. All of the other suggestions can help but are not neccesary

I am going to assume you are not an attorney as of yet.

The steps are as follows.

1. Go to, at the very lowest, top 100 undergrad ranked University.

2. Maintain at least a 3.75 gpa contained by a respectable major.

3. Summer at law firms, or at considerable corporations in legal.

4. Study for the LSAT.

5. Try for at lest a 160, but aim for a 170 win.

6. Apply to top 20 law schools

7. Graduate surrounded by the top 20%, attempt to make review

8a. Summer at ample firms.
8b. or work for the fed

9a. Get offered a position at said firm upon graduation.
9b. Clerk for fed

10a. Work 70+ hour weeks for 2-3 years.
10b. Work for 4-5 years.

11. Look for associate counsel positions contained by private industry.
