*10 POINTS, REPOST* Details roughly speaking a broadsheet sale representative?

Got a job interview on Wednesday that seems really promising, for a company that manage 17 newspapers.

The role is entitled "Sales Representative", and I get a fuel card, platform rate and mobile phone.

Just checking if anyone has had this position or anything similar?

10 points for a worthy answer!

Additional Details

I should add I've been working within sales (telemarketing) for about the closing year, so I do know how to work the business.

Sorry, I should have stated that.

What I'm asking is what does the job usually entail, because I've been told nought. Also, does it have a career causeway?

Thanks for your answers so far!

Yes, this undertaking sounds lucrative. If I were you I would research the company figure out why the position is interested.

Also, who are your competitors and where they stand. And, have thorough product comprehension, and company history.

Good Luck

You will sell ads for the media.

Make sure you know the rates of radio, internet and direct mail competition. You also have to stress that within bad economic times selling is even more important to attract new customers, while they may lose aged ones.

The career path is distrustful as print is changing due to the internet advertising effect.
