I am only 18 years old, and I am so so lucky to be working contained by the financial industry, particularly consumer and private banking. I be promoted 2 weeks ago as an Operations Subject Matter Expert and I am so so overwhelmed with the work load. I can roll beside all the jobs that I enjoy to do, but I am lost. Or maybe its just me? I consistency lost because all my colleagues are older than me. Sometimes I am treated to a moment ago a kid. It's really hard to fit in, sometimes they gurgle and joke with me, sometimes they don't. Should I quit my undertaking? I love my job. But I don't have friends within my job, and the new place that I live within. And also, sometimes people make me consistency like they're underestimating me. I don't know what to do... Well, I know I want to build my craft, but am I building it at a wrong time? Should I wait until I am older?

No, hold going, you seem like you're doing fine from what you've described. And don't verbs, you'll eventually make friends.

Right now, you're rather green and unproven, so people tend to underestimate you, because you don't have satisfactory experience for them to be able to completely evaluate your judgement. But they appear to be impressed with you adequate to give you a promotion. Don't take it too intuitively and don't worry about it too much. Hang surrounded by there and you'll gain that experience and people's trust.

It's difficult to find work in our time. The fact that you have a charge wherein you were promoted is a huge blessing.

Also, you did say that you love what you're doing. If so, I don't guess you should quit for 'being younger than everyone else' and therefore finding it difficult to 'fit in'. Your colleagues should not be the major basis of stopping what you like doing (assuming that you really resembling what your doing).

Besides, no job is perfect. Anywhere you travel, you will find something that you won't like.

Rather than be taken aback by your frustrations, consider your problems as a challenge to assert yourself and prove your worth. Perhaps by later, you won't be underestimated by your co-workers for being too immature. Now that's something to strive for.

By the way, building your career at a youthful age is a good thing. More experience usually lead to more lucrative opportunities in the adjectives.

no don't quit. You got a promotion because they like you, and contained by any work eenvironment there will be some kind of superior, and joking around. But considering you just get a raise I imagine adjectives the poking fun is all in righteous humor. I think if you are finding success very soon you should stick with it and aim it in the direction you would similar to to go. For example if you would ultimately like to outsource most of your work and work away from the organization so you have more time to travel for instance, aim for that. But quitting will not help you take there, and I don't think you should dawdle when you have a great opportunity in front of you. You will engineer friends in your new place, don't verbs, it will happen. And like I said, any work environment at hand is going to be underestimation/criticism/what have you. Keep your job and I don`t know go out to some places where relations your age hang out to make friends, so you hold some relief from your work. good luck =)
